As Race Directors, our mission is the consistently produce quality events for our athletes and sponsors. To that end, the Bethany Beach Ocean Suites has been a valuable partner in facilitating our Packet Pick Up Parties and for providing our out-of-town athletes with awesome accommodations while enjoying Coastal Delaware.

No doubt that the Bethany Beach Ocean Suites reflects the best that the Bethany-Fenwick Area has to offer. The spacious and well appointed meeting room allows us to effectively move hundreds of athletes easily through the Packet Pick Up Process allowing them time to have a beverage or food at 99 Sea Level, a culinary delight with a bar area that overlooks the Atlantic Ocean.

Even though the facilities are the best, their staff is even better! Katherine Saad and her staff make sure that everything is ready when the show begins. Attention to detail and anticipating needs with a friendly customer service attitude is what we have found to be most refreshing….make our job in creating a safe event, on time while exceeding expectations much easier.

Our charitable partners which include The Alzheimers Association, Autism Delaware, Justin’s Beach House which offers free week stays at the beach for families battling cancer, Bethany Beach Volunteer Fire Company and First Responders, and many other local and regional charities benefit by the generosity of ownership hosting their events which otherwise would have caused a financial and logistical burden. And since most of these events, start and end within steps of the BBOS, the proximity is second to none.

The combination of the Bethany Beach Ocean Suites’ Staff, Location, Facilities and Amenities make them a special community partner in helping Focus Multisports, a non-profit event company, in helping needy charities to gain awareness and proceeds from our events. We are all very fortunate to have them as a partner!


Every company needs to have their meeting at Bethany Beach Ocean Suites! It was an absolutely beautiful location with unbelievable rooms and accommodations. We ate at 99 Sea Level Restaurant overlooking the beach and the feedback I received from my sales professionals was it was simply the best meeting location they have ever been too. The staff was the most attentive I have ever been associated with. From Ruthie, Sandi and Sherry our servers, Mari, Anita, Emily and Jeni at the front desk, Neil our valet to Morgan our meeting planner, they truly served every need of my group. A special call out to Katherine Saad, the director of sales and marketing, as she was so very flexible and accommodating to all the needs I threw at her. Please don’t hesitate to have your meetings at Bethany Beach Ocean Suites, you won’t regret it. And if you don’t have a group and just want to get away, this is your place. My suite overlooked the ocean and I had the sound of the relaxing surf playing in the background of my sleep. THIS IS A MUST STOP DESTINATION FOR WORK OR PLAY!

Katherine, I just wanted to take the time to thank you for everything you and your staff did to make our stay at Bethany Beach Ocean Suites Amazing. Your staff went above and beyond to accommodate our team in every which way…from opening breakfast a 1/2 hr early for their early AM games, to having the conference room set up so nice for us and the front desk staff was great. Everyone on the team cannot say enough about how wonderful it was and can’t wait to come back next year! Thank you again for making the entire process so easy from booking the rooms and conference room to just making our stay the best! I will be in touch with you soon to book for next year’s tournament. I wanted to thank you and your entire STAFF at Bethany Beach Ocean Suites for a wonderful event this past weekend. Not only was the Customer Service excellent, the entire staff was attentive and friendly, and very accommodating! The guest rooms were beautiful and clean. The FOOD was excellent compared to previous retreats and served in a timely manner. This compliment includes the front desk staff, lobby staff, managers (especially Katherine Saad/Morgan Whalen as my catering contacts), and “Uncle Frank” was so friendly and pleasant. Your general manager also came in a few times to check on us to ensure we had the AV hooked up and working with the HDMI cable. The 99 Sea Level also did a fabulous job on the food for the reception, dinner, breakfast, and lunch buffet. They all made my life easier as the “meeting planner”.

Wow! That’s what we kept saying every step of the way as we considered, booked, and then experienced a regional staff conference at Bethany Beach Ocean Suites by Marriott. First things first, this is not your typical Residence Inn branded property, so get that picture out of your head right away. It is clearly several steps up from the other Residence Inns I have experienced and not just because it’s brand new construction. Yes it has all of the homey amenities in each room that make it a residence suite, but it also has a beach resort feel. Faux weathered wood flooring contrasted with striking aqua tones on accent walls, drapes and bedding greet each visitor to the spacious and beautifully appointed suites. The lobby features a unique blend of historical black and white Bethany Beach photographs juxtaposed to modern appointments and furnishings. It is full of complementary contradictions…grand and intimate, stark and colorful, open yet comforting. Equally surprising is the level of personal detail and attention expressed by Bethany Beach Ocean Suites associates. You won’t find subservient, robotic politeness here. Each staff person is a genuinely friendly human being with a personality that exudes their own personal brand. Expect to have an actual conversation with these folks, not the automated, void of emotion “customer service” experience that permeates so much of the hotel industry. If you are looking for a “best kept secret” setting to thrill your small to medium sized conference goers, you can’t go wrong here. We are re-booking now for next year!
